1. About these terms
These terms and conditions govern the tuition and services offered by Classic Players Music Academy ("we", "us", "our") in Dunedin, New Zealand. By booking a lesson or enrolling, you agree to these terms.
2. Lessons & bookings
Lessons are arranged directly between the student (or their parent/guardian) and the academy. Lesson times, formats and pricing are confirmed at the time of booking.
- Lessons may be delivered in person at our Dunedin studio or online, as agreed.
- Regular lesson slots are held for enrolled students on an ongoing basis.
- Students are asked to arrive prepared and on time so that lesson time is used fully.
3. Cancellations & rescheduling
We ask for reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Missed lessons without notice may still be charged. Specific notice periods will be confirmed when you enrol.
4. Payment
Fees are payable as agreed at enrolment, whether per lesson, per term or per block. Any changes to fees will be communicated in advance.
5. Student conduct & practice
Progress depends on regular practice between lessons. We provide guidance and materials; students are responsible for practising as advised. Respectful conduct toward tutors and other students is expected at all times.
6. Instruments & materials
Unless otherwise agreed, students are responsible for providing their own instrument for home practice and for purchasing any required books or materials.
7. Liability
We take reasonable care in delivering lessons but are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand law.
